why veldora

What makes working here different

Reading-room pace

Sessions are structured so each concept settles before the next one arrives. There is no race through a slide deck.

Malaysian context throughout

Content covers EPF, PRS, unit trusts, and Bursa-listed instruments — not generic Western frameworks applied loosely.

Written materials you keep

Workbooks, templates, and written session summaries mean you leave with something to refer back to, not just notes from memory.

Small groups by design

The investing group programme is deliberately capped at eight so each participant can ask and be heard without feeling rushed.

Family-scale thinking

The family engagement is designed for households, not solo investors. It accounts for dual incomes, shared goals, and different comfort levels.

No product recommendations

Veldora is an education provider, not a sales channel. Programmes focus on building understanding, not steering toward any particular product.

questions

Things people often ask

Do I need any prior knowledge to join a programme?

No prior knowledge is needed for any of our programmes. The Household Money Map and Investing Reading Group are both designed for people who are at the beginning of their financial learning journey. The Family Finance Engagement assumes participants already manage a household budget, but no investment background is required.

How are the sessions delivered — in person or online?

The Household Money Map and Family Finance Engagement can be delivered in person at our Bangsar studio or over a video call — whichever works better for you. The Investing Reading Group runs as a small group and is held in person at the studio to allow for richer discussion.

What is the difference between the one-to-one programmes and the reading group?

The Household Money Map and Family Finance Engagement are tailored to your specific household — your income, your expenses, your goals. The Investing Reading Group follows a set curriculum and is shared with a small cohort of other participants, which brings additional perspectives and questions into the room.

When does the next Investing Reading Group cohort begin?

Cohorts run every two to three months depending on enrolment. Please send an enquiry to be added to the notification list for upcoming cohort dates. We will let you know as soon as a new cohort is confirmed.

Are the prices quoted inclusive of all materials?

Yes. The fees listed include all printed workbooks, reading materials, templates, and written summaries. There are no add-on costs beyond the programme fee.

Is this programme suitable for someone already contributing to EPF?

Yes. EPF contributions, account types, and withdrawal scenarios are covered in both the Household Money Map and Family Finance Engagement. The Investing Reading Group also discusses how EPF fits into a broader long-horizon approach.
